(Note: many of these graves have smashed headstones & fences, with can be distressing for some people, Also the puddles after the rain exaggerate the vandalised effect.)
The green, wet photos are from September 2009.
The dry, yellow photos are from 2005. Starting in the foreground, then over to the back left.

January 22, 2018 at 5:30amGerald Cedric Smith is my late husbands Great Uncle.
I am one of a very small group trying to maintain the cemetery. We have over the past couple of years cut down & poisoned Hawthorn bushes, weeded and are at this time working with Northern Midlands Council to have the drainage problem corrected. There was a Blue stone Celtic cross for Alban Roper which was damaged / has now been repaired and once drainage has been completed the grave will be repaired and the cross reinstalled. We hope to hold a ceremony at this time. We are also working on the idea of a peace garden with shrubs and seating. If you would like to attend please contact myself.

January 10, 2019 at 10:52pmHello Lynette
We would be most interested in attending, please.
My mother is Patrick Reynold’s Great granddaughter and she and my husband have been tracing our family history. We have visited the Evandale RC cemetery on a couple of occasions. Thank you very much for all your hard work in restoring and maintaining it.

January 10, 2019 at 10:44pmHello, I can shed some light on the gravestone:
Dorothy Maryan
Died 28th June 1919
Aged 21 years
~
R.I.P
It is that of Dorothy Mary RYAN
She was the daughter of William Patrick Ryan and Rose Reynolds.
Her birth was registered in Evandale in 1898 (Index#1135641)
My Great Great grandfather, Patrick Reynolds was Rose’s father.
Patrick and his wife Catherine are also buried in this cemetery as are other relatives (in marked and unmarked graves).
