Back at Tintagel and its rocky castle…
Under the headland which holds most of the castle there is a sea cave.
Merlin’s Cave, it is called. For most of the day is is full of water.
For a couple of hours either side of low tide, it is exposed.
You get to it by walking down all the stairs to the little beach
The beach has a waterfall!
So there’s the cave
and at the back it glows.
Rocky little beach
