What this blog is about

Featured

This is a collection of material relating to diversity in a historical context in Australia. I’m using diversity in a broad sense to cover race, nationality, gender & sexuality, mental health, disability, religion and anything else that might be elevant. In other words, whatever interests me.

There’s no attempt to be comprehensive. It’s just things I’ve come across that are interesting, photos I’ve taken and some ongoing projects I’m working on. Also, it’s mostly Tasmanian, because that’s what I encounter the most.

For the ongoing projects, there is usually a main post acting as a summary or index for a bunch of smaller posts (see menu bar just below the header), which are all included under a Category. Photos are organised using Categories.

(The “Why” in the URL comes from “Why do I need another blog?”)
