Churches of Latrobe

In the second half of the 19th century, Latrobe was a thriving town -- the most important town on the north west coast -- until the railway went past in 1885 and focus moved to the port of Formby, which became Devonport. Many of Latrobe's builings still reflect that era of prosperity and growth, including the churches.
