Recent announcement of the possible sale of St Andrews Church at Westbury has raised the question of what will happen to the ashes of those people interred at the church. Both my parent’s ashes are there and I would appreciate knowing what provision would be put in place for them and others. This is a very sensitive issue for not just my family but others as well who have had association with the church over many years.

Every person who can must oppose this mad programme to sell so many historic and beautiful churches in Tasmania and to do so much harm to people who attend them often or sometimes or occasionally and people who have personal and family associations, but also to the communities for which they were built by our forebears.
