The Trinity Church has been a distinctive landmark in Hobart for over a century and a half. It stands out prominently in early views of the city, and even today, it's easily seen from the surrounding hills.

It was built in the 1840s, and was a replacement for the older chapel adjoining the penitentiary in Campbell St.

(Unfortunately, it's rish reddish brown colour is a little hard to photograph, especially when you've got an impatient little dog on the end of a lead.)
